Studio teacher
Jenna Wild
Since the age of four, Jenna has trained at Ana-Maria’s Dance Academy in all dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip-hop, and acrobatics. Jenna grew up at AMDA and has been honoured to be a part of the teaching faculty for the last few years. She recently graduated from the dance program at All Saints Catholic Secondary School, where she gained early experience in choreographing pieces. Jenna has earned honours in BATD and Acrobatic Arts exams under Ana-Maria and Denise Lester, and she was invited to compete in the BATD Trixie Hardy Scholarship Competition in 2022. Jenna has received numerous scholarships, special awards, and overall placements throughout her competitive dance career. Jenna has had the opportunity to perform in many professional settings, such as the Toronto International Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker, The Toronto Santa Claus Parade, My Mulan, The Uxbridge Santa Train, and the Harlem Globetrotters halftime show. Jenna has performed in the opening number for Toronto Kids Fashion Week on multiple occasions. Jenna earned the Overall Company Award for Pickering’s SynchroniCity dance company, where she performed at many City events. She is beginning her studies in Kinesiology and Health Science at York University, working towards a career in pediatric physiotherapy where she can combine her love for movement and working with children.
